Mathematical simulation of electro-hydrodynamic flows caused by sharp electrode

Peculiarities of numeric simulation of electrohydrodynamic flows in a closed cylindrical space with the cone projection (sharp electrode) are considered. Methods for the mesh construction and the approximation of equations which takes into account the finite curvature of the electrode surface are suggested. Numerical errors of solutions received by different ways of the mesh construction are compared. Two-field methods of the hydrodynamics problem solution is adapted for calculation of the electrohydrodynamic flows.
