Low- Reynolds- number turbulence model for investigation of heat transfer in inhomogeneous media

Kharlamov S.N.

Tomsk State University (Tomsk)

In the paper the turbulence model including the transport equations for Reynolds stresses, scalar fluxes, kinetic energy k and turbulence scale L (RST-kL-fluxes model) and the two-parametric heat model with equations for the temperature variance and its dissipation rate is evaluated. Model closure is accomplished with allowance of near-wall effect. It is shown that the RST-kL-fluxes model is successful at calculations of straight and swirled internal flows. Comparisons of calculation results and experimental data foe “fine” characteristics of flow and heat transfer are presented
