Finite-difference algorithm for calculation noncompressible viscous fluid flow based on the algebraic velocity expansion

Firsov D.K.

TSU Russia (Tomsk)

The finite-difference scheme on collocated grid for the Navier-Stokes equations in pressure-velocity variables in the non-orthogonal, curvilinear body-fitted coordinate system is considered. The new approximation method based on the algebraic decomposition of velocities in two parts is used to exclude fiction oscillations of computational variables. Non-central finite difference scheme in approximation of discontinuity equation is used. Central-differences scheme for pressure gradient approximation is decomposed into two parts, so that their templates are opposite in direction.
